This is a post I wanted to write from a long time in regards to these junk emails I keep receiving –
“Hi,
Pardon me for not having the pleasure of knowing your mindset before
making you this offer and it is utterly confidential and genuine by virtue
of its nature.I write to solicit your assistance in a funds transfer deal
involving US$ 3.5M.This fund has been stashed out of the excess profit
made last year by my branch office of the Bank where i worked in Ghana
which I am the manager.
I have already submitted an approved end-of-the-year report for the year
2006 to my head office here in Accra-Ghana and they will never know of
this excess. I have since then, placed this amount on a Non-Investment
Account without a beneficiary.
Upon your response, I will configure your name on our database as holder
of the Non-Investment Account. I will then guide you on how to apply to my
head office for the Account Closure/ bank-to-bank remittance of the funds
to your designated bank account.
If you concur with this proposal, I intend for you to retain 30% of the
funds while 70% shall be for me.

Come on get alive no one wants your cash and if you do any how have so much money keep it to your self and also keep the lottery money you want to send us in your F$#@# A$$. We are very happy without this useless money of your and the time you are using to email so many of us use that in doing something good with that same money and spend some fu$#%&g time with your family and don’t waste our time. Last but not the least fu@#$%g stops sending those email for god sake.
Yours not interested in receiving junk mails.
Rainz..
I was so happy with Gmail that they have a nice filter which can directly send emails to junk mail but somehow they have also stopped sending them to junk mail directly and come into the inbox. I know many of you also must be having the same problem, do u reckon there is a end to these junk mails.
What a wonderful time of the year this is. Nature defrosts, the sun shines again and i am back with a bang and here with my new logo i was working on, hope u all like it. I thought if its rainz mag then i should have my own unique logo. I have been a brand freak since i can remember and started understanding what to wear and not wear and use. The latest in my collection is my iphone. I do miss “united color of benetton“ here and the funniest thing of all is that many kiwis here do not know this brand….far out and i feel like telling them come on peepz get updated and get alive but this does not go for my frendz “philby and sheryl”.

Food is one thing that is never far from our thoughts, we Indians love to eat good food and I would put more emphasizes on good food. Weather it be Indian, thai, malay, Chinese etc etc and the most important thing is it be vegetarian. Being her in Auckland away from home and having a busy life has some how killed my cooking ability I feel, thanks to take away following in foreign country. I still remember there were days I would love to experiment with new food each and every day and mostly all being vegetarian. I have now started thinking being a veggie in a foreign country is like and sign and I am torturing myself. I still remember the day in my induction we were asked to say a unusual thing and I said I am a veggie and they were like so you must be loving to eat salad and I was like I am a veggie who hates salad J.Just today my husband bought this book “Auckland’s 50 best restaurants” being a foodie I was all excited the first thing I wanted to see if there was a Indian restaurant and what there was none. I should be shocked there were none but only if there were any good.
In these years i have become a very good food critic tasting all the rubbish food, to top it all I have liked tried all the Indian restaurants you could say in north and the south island in nz to find a feeling of home but never did.We Indians till we do not have roti and our Indian veges and dal tadka, biryani etc etc we will feel hungry J and above all going to these Indian restaurants’ is like whooping $100 between 2 people very high compared to having a pizza, burger etc. Even on my trip to south island which lasted like for 8 days I tried all the Indian restaurants from Christchurch, Dunedin, queenstown, greymouthetc etc and living in Auckland tried all of them here. The best Indian food I had till today is at “Punjabi Dhabha, manukau” seems the chef there has not forgotten his roots he sure has changed and does not cook the same as Indian but is good better than others like Oh Calcutta seems they have too much sugar so they food is sweet I do not think Kolkata cuisine is sweet. My friends had told me go to tagore the food there is mind blowing and it being in the city was convenient, so me and my hubby dear thought should celebrate our house purchase there so I ordered my veg paneer dish I never ever tasted anything bad than that the left over was like I had not even touched my veg after a bite he was should I pack it for you and I was no how can I eat this crap at home when I could not even eat It here. Even my hubby dear who ordered some fish dish could not eat hisJ. After trying all this crap at diff places I feel I am better off eating my veg pita and veg burger at nandos with the extra hot peri peri sauce just love it J or veg patty sub at subway. I feel Indian restaurants really need to get going and lift there standards do something really good and make our taste buds click to come among on of “The Auckland’s 50 best restaurants” . I wish there were some places like India where I can just go and eat a very spicy and tasty samosa, kachori (itz been ages not had one L)wada pau. These showy and loud Indian restaurants have good interiors but food naah. Oh ya we do have bikanerwala now but when you tell them can you please make my samosa hot they will be like yeh toh factory se bankar aaya hai (this has been made in the factory no changes can be made to them) L.
Most of us have seen newspaper headlines appalling shooting by thugs of Navtej Singh in his Manurewa shop. This is quite a common thing now happening in south of Auckland inspite of alcohol being cheaper then cola. As i was in process of moving into my new adobe and had no time to see tvso did not know what exactly was happening in auckland . but as i reach work after 3 days and everyone is having small chit chats about the incident and i am like what and when and they gave me the whole preview how Mr Singh, 30, was shot in cold blood by armed men during a robbery at his Manurewa liquor store of alcohol and cash on June 7. He died in Auckland’s Middlemore Hospital 24 hours after being shot. I reach home and my friend calls up and she is totally devasted of what has happened to this member of her community and asked me to donate $20 over the 0900 NAVTEJ (any people residing in NZ wanna donate then please call this no and u will automatically be billed on to your phone account) and i did that as soon i finished talking with her because i know i have a bad memory and tend to forget things.
In the wake of the murder of Navtej Singh, a number of people in Manurewa pointed out that there had been a 700-signature petition against a liquor licence being granted for the store Mr Singh owned. They believed it would be detrimental to the community and attract the wrong sorts of people to the neighbourhood. But the local licensing authority decided there was no good reason not to grant the licence, so it was issued. In future, community objections will be given more weight. All very well and good, but it muddies the waters to tie in the murder of Navtej Singh with the proliferation of bottle shops. Yes, the murder took place in Mr Singh’s liquor outlet. But the liquor outlet is not the problem. The real problem is the murdering, amoral scumbags who can shoot a defenceless man and leave, laughing. Talking about tidying up liquor licensing in light of what’s happened in South Auckland is like rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic.
As it being a Indian man how could the Indian community not come forward and get some media coverage and that what the sikh community did, a committee made up of 17 Sikh community leaders was formed, which will lodge the letter of complaint against police. As Police received the first 111 emergency call at 9.05pm but did not enter the store until 9.31pm and paramedics entered at 9.38pm - 20 minutes after they arrived at a “safe point” at the scene. Police later said they had to establish where the gunman was before they entered so no one else’s life was put in danger. As they waited members Mr Singh’s family told 111 operators the gunman and his co-offenders had long since departed. I was like good going, I was totally with the community until and unless I received this text, it was shocking :-
As we all know about the heart touching incident about a late navtej singh, all our Punjabi community decided to do aparade to reduce crime and show majority of Punjabis. So this is the time for Punjabi youth or all Punjab lovers to come and join on Saturday 21st June at manukau square 2pm. Join it Punjabi pride.
I was like wow has Punjab become a country different to India and has becomea new Pakistan. I would have loved to join and make my other frendz come and join me if it said:-

I feel bad for the grieving family members, the victims’ tales are so harrowing that even the most rosy of optimists is forced to concede that some people are evil to the core and for them, locking them up and throwing away the key may be the only answer.
I basically wrote this blog this in reference to the text as how Indians our changing after reaching abroad and having community like Punjabi community, Bengali community, Christian community, Calcutta community etc etc. Come on people we our one country and not every state is a different country. “Why do u forget thatHindu, Muslim, Sikh, eashi sab bhai bhai”. Show yourself as a Indian and be proud to be one. For myself I feel u can take me out of India but not the Indian from me so I am a born Indian and will die a Indian. may navtej singh soul rest in peace. Amen.
Some days back i went to bed, I was woken rather abruptly by a text message. It was 5.25 am and I wasn’t particularly thrilled to hear my phone chiming away and waking me and my hubby. But when I read the message all was forgiven. it was from a old friend with whom i sort of lost touch over the years. When I was in college I and my friend used to bunk classes and see movies every weekend. It was the same routine every week: we would call into cafe coffee day, Mocha, Macdonald and grab coffees or frappuccinos or our burgers and head to either her house or mine and gossip, it was really very low key but fun. We both were in the same boat finished our designing course, working in a advertising agency. She has this fabulously big personality and even bigger heart. Her text message this morning read “this time five six years ago were still in college. i miss my frappuccino. When did we get this busy?”
This text made me feel sad that great friendships slip by in the blur of our busy lives; it must about five six years now that we had spent lazy weekends together. in that time we both got married attended each other wedding and moved to different places I rather say a different country. my work and family continue to dominate my world. Life is crazy juggling act and fitting everything in it isn’t easy. So thanks for your text my friend. While we have lost touch we will never lose our friendship- no matter how busy our life gets.

Hello friends and family-
First and foremost I would like to thank all the people who sent me there wishes on my birthday. Birthday is such a day you are happy and sad, happy as it is your day and people make you feel special but somewhere you know one more year of life has passed. The age old question, so how old is you today? Regardless of the answer, birthdays are a special day for me. The thing I most love in this day is that I get to make the rules for the day, so I can do anything on that day specially shopping I just love doing that my husband gets tired as he knows I will pop from shop to shop and get the best thing without bothering about the price as it makes me feel special. I start my day with a positive attitude and end it positive. A birthday is a joyous occasion. What could be a better birthday gift than the gift of happiness? So on every birthday I share happiness by spreading laughter. I feel Birthday is a occasion to celebrate growth, maturity, and development. Birthdays remind us that the gift of life is the most precious and important one which i realize every year with my birthday.
“Sing a song of Birthdays, Full of fun and cheer and May you keep on having them for many a happy year.”

This Labour Government is about to announce tax cuts in the impending
Budget. If we spend that money at :-
*The Warehouse, the money will go to China. If
*we spend it on gasoline it will go to the Arabs.
* if we purchase a computer it will go to Taiwan.
* if we buy a camera it will go to Japan. *if you fancy a Plasma TV it will end up in Korea.
* a cell-phone helps Finland and Korea and
* if you spend it on furniture it will go to Malaysia.
* If we purchase fruit and vegetables it will go to Mexico, Honduras, Peru, Thailand, Guatemala and Australia.
*If we purchase a good car it will go to Japan. *If we purchase useless crap it will all go to China and none of it will help the N.Z. economy. The only way to keep that money here at home is to spend it on prostitutes, beer, marijuana and P since these are the only products still produced in our dear country. Thank you for your help.
